The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) has launched a new, intuitive, user-friendly website that was designed and built by high-tech B2B public relations and digital marketing agency Arketi Group. With more than 30,000-plus members, TAG, the state’s largest technology industry association, now sports a fresh new online look.

The updated, streamlined website (https://www.tagonline.org) features greatly improved functionality compared to the former one, making it easier for individuals to find information about TAG’s 26 societies and chapters, 200-plus annual events, membership, news and more. The site also consolidates multiple formerly disparate TAG-related websites into one.

“One of three major initiatives the TAG board of directors set to meet this year is digital transformation,” said Larry Williams, TAG president and CEO. “The launch of our new digital presence, powered by first-class architect Arketi Group, is a major milestone and will ensure our organization is digital-first when it comes to our members. Arketi went above and beyond – delivering a flexible and powerful communications platform that will increase interaction with our members.”

The Calendar of Events – central to TAG’s mission – received an exceptional upgrade. TAG members can now easily find, read and sign up for upcoming events all in one place. The calendar effortlessly categorizes events by month, location or keyword to create a seamless experience for all users interested in connecting with key industry leaders across pivotal technology sector events.

The site also invites users to engage more visibly and easily with TAG’s 26 professional societies. Key to TAG’s mission to connect, promote, influence and educate Georgia’s technology community is the work and mission of its societies, led by some of the tech ecosystem’s most high-profile leaders.

“Having a more dynamic and engaging way for our TAG members to plug in, connect and grow is key to TAG’s purpose and, in 2020, digital matters,” said Julie Bryant Fisher, Chief Experience Officer at TAG. “Arketi has created a one-stop platform to help members take advantage of everything TAG has to offer, and we look forward to the increased engagement.”

TAG’s bolder, brighter website also has a smarter backend, making it easier and faster for TAG staff to make updates. A novel tagging functionality allows an item to be added one time but appear on multiple pages. This process used to take several steps and required staff to re-key information.

“Our work with TAG is part of our commitment to Georgia’s technology ecosystem,” said Rory Carlton, principal, Arketi Group. “The new website successfully showcases the many facets of Georgia’s tech community and makes it easy for anyone to connect and engage with the state’s rapidly expanding number of technology companies and initiatives.”

“Members no longer have to sift through several pages to find what they’re looking for or visit multiple sites,” Williams said. “We are thrilled with the consistent look, feel and function of our new digital platform and have already heard from members that they are finding it more intuitive, engaging and enjoyable to use.”
