The economic landscape has been a roller coaster ride for the past three years. The 2020 pandemic caused over 20 million Americans to lose their jobs virtually overnight, but the U.S. economy showcased its resilience and bounced back.

Since then, employers have been on a hiring spree and Americans have steadily been re-entering the workforce. In fact, Georgia began 2023 with job numbers at an all-time high.

However, for the last year and a half, there have been rising concerns over the threat of an economic contraction. To get more insight into the current economic landscape, TAG’s Corporate Development Society presents: “Have we landed yet? A mid-year update on markets” on August 24th at the Intown Golf Club. With a little more than half the year behind us, the Society will bring together a panel of experts to offer a mid-year check-up on markets.

Our panel includes Tony Yannucci, Director at Croft & Bender, who will provide insights on M&A activity; Joseph Weissglass, Managing Director at Configure Partners, who will explore debt markets; Greg Watkins, Senior Director of Portfolio Management at Bank of NY Mellon, who will discuss equity markets; and Vasant Kamath, General Partner at Tech Square Ventures, who will talk about venture capital.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of this essential dialogue and navigate the economic landscape with expert insight. Register your participation here.
