Companies of all sizes continue to evaluate the use of cloud computing strategies in their overall data management business plans. Storing, managing and protecting sensitive data are critical elements that must be carefully considered when developing an enterprise data modernization strategy.
According to data insights company Statista, the amount of enterprise data stored in the cloud will, for the first time, surpass the amount of enterprise data stored on premises. And not by an insignificant margin—more than 60% of enterprise data will be stored in the cloud this year. As a segment of IT services, cloud computing is expected to generate over 400 billion U.S. dollars in revenue this year.
And, according to analyst firm Gartner, by 2025, spending on cloud computing in the application software, infrastructure software, business process services and system infrastructure technology segments will surpass spending on traditional IT solutions in the same categories.
The TAG Cloud Society will be discussing this topic on October 12 at Google Millennium Atlanta HQ as three thought leaders in data transformation and modernization take the stage. Each leader will share their journeys and lessons they’ve learned. This exclusive event will highlight the dramatic impact their data strategies are making at marquis enterprises like Equifax, Synovus and Blackrock.
Speakers also will discuss how to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to drive real business value to their organizations. Additionally, they will discuss the evolution of data strategies and how data transformation impacts enterprises. To learn more about this event and to register, click here.
