The innovation economy is fueled by excellence. With that in mind, TAG is proud to recognize a select few companies and leaders that deliver an especially high standard of excellence to create value, drive innovation or make a positive contribution in the technology community.

The TAG Technology Awards will return for the second year. If you know of a company deserving of recognition for its extraordinary success leveraging technology in 2021 in the categories below, then please let us know. Applications for the TAG Technology Awards are open from now until December 31. Winners will be announced on February 17, 2022.

This year’s award categories are:

  1. Tech Leader of the Year (Public, Non-Profit, Education, Corporate): This award recognizes a CIO, CISO or equivalent throughout Georgia who has primary IT leadership responsibility within his/her organization, and demonstrated leadership, driven innovation, and delivered value to their organization
  2. Emerging Leader of the Year: This award recognizes a rising leader in any type or size Georgia organization who demonstrated leadership, driven innovation, and delivered value to their organization or industry
  3. Innovation Driven Company: This award recognizes companies throughout Georgia that have developed an innovative technology solution or are using existing technology in an innovative way to make companies and organizations stand out in any industry.
  4. Digital Transformation of the Year (Public, Non-Profit, Corporate): Recognizes a government, education, non-profit entity, and a public or private corporation throughout Georgia whose digital transformation implemented in the last 12 months impacted their organization’s efficiencies, customer interactions, profit margin, and/or impacted the organization’s advancement of their mission.
  5.  Tech for Good: This award recognizes a 2021 program or project that utilizes technology to positively impact under-served individuals or communities, promotes inclusiveness and creates equity in Georgia.
  6.  Tech Evolution: This award recognizes a technology program or product that pre-existed for one purpose and was adapted for another purpose with a positive impact in 2021.
