A key component to strengthening the economic fabric of our state lies in fostering a diverse workforce. It’s become increasingly clear that when we commit to inclusive growth, we unlock the limitless potential of Georgia’s business community.
To truly harness this potential, however, we must create spaces where we can engage in thoughtful dialogue. As such, TAG’s Corporate Development Society is taking a step forward by hosting “Unlocking Diversity in Corporate Development” on July 20th at the Russel Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs. The event aims to shed light on the impacts and challenges of diversity in corporate development and the significance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) in today’s corporate landscape.
Our moderator, Erin Mitchell Richeson, VP of Cox Enterprises, will guide the discussion featuring a panel of industry experts: Tracy Pointer, Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at UPS; Louis Montgomery Jr., Partner and Human Resources & Diversity Officers practice leader at JM Search; Jerrell Moore, EVP & Chief Diversity Officer at Cadence Bank; and Kristen Cook, VP Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity at Equifax.
Attendees can look forward to gaining strategies for fostering inclusive workplaces and learning about emerging tools in diversity hiring. Our panel will also provide insight into DE&I challenges and opportunities during Mergers & Acquisitions as well as resources for boosting inclusion in business growth.
