ATLANTA, GA (April, 29 2020) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) has announced the launch of the new TAG Blockchain Society, offering technology companies and leaders with new opportunities to engage around the fast-growth blockchain industry sector.

The TAG Blockchain Society joins TAG’s list of 26 professional societies, bringing together industry leader across key sectors for professional development, special events, peer networking, community engagement and partnerships.

As blockchain technology evolves, transforming multiple industries, the TAG Blockchain Society will foster a collaborative environment for the development and exploration of expanding uses for blockchain technology.

“The Blockchain Society will provide an arena forum for showcasing the expanding cross-industry uses of blockchain technology and new markets. We’ll create a peer environment for the development and promotion of blockchain projects, technology advancements and investments,” said Blockchain Society Co-Chair Roop Singh and Founder, Intuit Factory, a blockchain education and strategy firm. “As we inch towards a post-pandemic era, now is the time to build state-of-the-art products, resilient infrastructure, and innovative companies, and emerge as a better society. Blockchain has a central and, in fact, driving role in shaping that new world.”

The TAG Blockchain Society will host its first event May 14 with a virtual event Blockchain Applications in the Real World featuring a panel led by blockchain leaders discussing the role of blockchain in a post-pandemic world and  showcasing case studies of Blockchain real-world applications by notable companies.
