From Vision to Impact: Advancing Georgia’s Innovation Future

The strength of Georgia’s technology community comes from people who see possibility and commit to making it real. Across our state, entrepreneurs, business leaders, educators and policymakers are doing that work every day. As we enter November, I’m grateful for the ways this community continues to come together – sharing ideas, opening doors and creating opportunities that reach beyond any one organization.

We saw that spirit at TAG Invest Connect in October, bringing Georgia’s technology entrepreneurs together with corporate buyers and investors. For a growing company, access to the right customer, partner or source of capital can change its trajectory. Creating those connections is one way TAG helps turn Georgia’s innovation into business growth.

That work is central to Vision 2030: Georgia as a Global Hub of Innovation. Through TAG’s four pillars – Connect, Promote, Influence and Educate – we are building relationships that support business growth, bringing greater visibility to Georgia’s innovators, shaping policies that encourage investment and helping people develop the skills to participate in our technology economy.

This month, our Global Innovation Executive Leadership Series will explore “Robotics Everywhere: Scaling the Autonomous Workforce” at Georgia Tech on November 10. We’ll examine where robotics can address business needs and how leaders can prepare their organizations and people to work alongside these technologies.

Then, on November 19, we’ll gather at Hotel Phoenix for the TAG Chairs’ Gala. This year’s theme, Vision in Focus, brings together the accomplishments we celebrate and the future we are working toward. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens will join us to introduce the Mayor’s Technology Leader of the Year Award, established in his honor. Together, we’ll recognize the people shaping Georgia’s technology community and strengthen the relationships behind its continued growth.

I invite you to join us. The relationships we build today help determine what Georgia can achieve tomorrow. Together, let’s make Georgia the place the world looks to for what’s next.

Wishing you a wonderful start to the holiday season,

Larry K. Williams
