Atlanta, GA (January 6, 2020) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Corporate Development Society is pleased to announce the appointment of new leadership and members to their 2020 Board of Directors.

o Ned Hill, Chair
Mr. Hill is Managing Director of the Technology – Venture Banking Group at Signature Bank. Ned has over 25 years of experience as an operator, consultant and investor in technology companies. Previously, Ned spent 15 years as a venture capitalist with successful exits including an IPO and several strategic acquisitions. He is a past Chair of the Venture Atlanta selection committee.

o Courtney Stough, Vice–Chair
Ms. Stough is a partner with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough with a focus on emerging growth, venture capital, and mergers & acquisitions. Courtney has experience representing clients in various types of transactions, as well as advising startups and investors on entity formation and general corp. matters. She is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).

2019 Highlights
The Corporate Development Society had another successful year with six, high quality programs providing insights and anecdotes on topics ranging from startup and emerging technology company capitalization to initial public offerings. Guest speakers included C-level executives from some of Georgia’s top Technology startups and growth-stage companies along with partners from prominent Venture Capital and Private Equity firms. The Society’s annual “CXOs signature event” featured SalesLoft, the 7th fastest-growing technology company in North America, which raised a $70M Series-D round in 2019 (total venture funding of $145M).

TAG recognized the Society leadership of Marc Borelli, Chair and Georgi Gullia, Vice-Chair over the past 2 years. Also, 2 former Society Chairs (Jim Forbes and Steve Hassett) were appointed to TAG’s new Chair Emeritus Council (CEC); See Announcement Here – Read More
