Going forward, all firms doing business with the DoD will need to demonstrate compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) to a third party assessor. Assessors must be accredited by the CMMC-Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB) and all contracts with the DoD will require CMMC compliance by fiscal year 2026. Though guidance from the CMMC-AB is still evolving, don’t delay planning your path forward. This journey to CMMC certification takes a significant amount of time.
On September 22, members of the Tyonek Inc. and Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc. teams will be a part of a conversation focusing on cybersecurity and the journey toward compliance. This conversation will be hosted by the Georgia Defense Industrial Base Task Force, a partnership of the Georgia Department of Economic Development and the Technology Association of Georgia.
