ATLANTA (January 7, 2025) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s premier tech-focused industry association, is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Top 40 Most Innovative Companies in Georgia.
“At TAG, we understand that innovation is the lifeblood of Georgia’s tech ecosystem,” said TAG President & Chief Executive Officer, Larry K. Williams, “We’re excited to spotlight those companies that are pushing boundaries and driving our state’s technological advancement. Whether you’re a startup visionary or leading innovation at an established enterprise, we want to hear your story.”
A panel of distinguished technology leaders and investors will evaluate the applications, selecting the Top 40 based on three key criteria:
- The uniqueness and impact of their innovations
- The market needs addressed by their solutions
- The broader benefits to Georgia’s technology economy
The Top 40 will showcase their innovations at the 2025 Georgia Technology Summit, scheduled for April 16th, 2025, at the Woodruff Arts Center in midtown Atlanta, with the Top 10 earning the opportunity to present their groundbreaking work on the main stage to all the day’s attendees during a special event at the Summit.
“Over the past two decades, it has been exciting to see the transformative power of this recognition,” Williams reflected. “Many of our past honorees have gone on to achieve remarkable success, contributing significantly to Georgia’s reputation as a hub of innovation. If you’re developing technology that’s solving big problems, this is the place to share it.”
“We are excited to kick off the 2025 Top 40/Top 10 innovative companies competition,” said Dennis Zakas, chair of the Top 40 committee. “Each year, this competition is one of the most popular events at the Georgia Technology Summit. To qualify for the Top 40, a company must be an innovative technology company based in Georgia. Winners are selected based on: degree of innovation; scope and financial impact; likelihood of success; and promotion of Georgia’s innovation nationally and internationally. Past winners include SalesLoft, Manhattan Associates, Secureworks, the Weather Channel, Airwatch, OneTrust, Stord and Sharecare.
