The IEX Group executive to present at annual conference on financial technology trends
ATLANTA (June 29, 2023) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) today announced Rob Park, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of IEX Group, Inc. (IEX) as the first keynote speaker at the annual Fintech South conference.
At IEX, which is dedicated to providing access and improving performance across financial services and other industries, Park oversees the full spectrum of the company’s technology functions, from development to user experience to quantitative strategy.
Before co-founding IEX, Park was the Head of Global Algorithmic Trading for RBC Capital Markets, where his team was instrumental in the creation of client-facing algorithms and smart order routing strategies. Prior to working at RBC, Park co-founded Quantera Financial Corp., a proprietary high-frequency trading firm that specialized in statistical and machine learning algorithms.
Park will be featured live at TAG’s Fintech South conference – an annual summit that discusses trends and developments in financial technology and innovation, in a keynote session entitled, “How an Algorithm Increased Fairness, Transparency and Performance on Wall Street.” Discussion topics at this year’s conference will be centered around the theme of Reliability – Innovation – Transparency.
