PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA (August 27, 2020) – With schools across the country starting the 2020-2021 year remotely, many districts are still working to provide devices, connectivity and support to students and teachers for successful distance learning. Stratix Corporation, a leading provider of Managed Mobility Services (MMS) in the U.S., is working with schools and districts throughout the country to provide Chromebook and tablet packages, that are ready to go “out-of-the-box”, backed with advance replacement repair services and a student help desk to create a successful and sustainable 1:1 technology program.

One example of how Peachtree Corners, Georgia-based Stratix is helping school districts is right in their own backyard, with Cobb County School District in Georgia. In a time where it is difficult to procure Chromebooks and other devices, Cobb County School District found it easy to work with Stratix, who has the expertise, relationships with supply chain distributors and can offer competitive prices on these devices. Cobb County contracted Stratix to procure and provision thousands of Chromebooks for their district. With Georgia schools already back in session with virtual learning, Stratix knew it was urgent to get the devices into the hands of students. Stratix will personally deliver the first shipment of those devices, and they will be available for students less than two weeks after Cobb County placed their order.

“We want all students to have the tools and resources they need to achieve their goals and be successful. With Cobb students returning to school virtually this fall, we had an immediate need to get additional devices to the schools,“ said Felicia Wagner, executive director for the Cobb Schools Foundation. “We felt Stratix was the right fit. They were local to us, had access to the volume of devices we needed and went to great lengths to get us the devices while working within our budget.”

In addition to working with large school districts, Stratix has also put together technology programs for smaller schools that require devices and tech support for their students. Stratix School’s Direct program is an all-in-one program that provides devices, ‘white-glove’ readiness and ongoing device protection programs, repair and tech support to ensure these schools have the resources they need for distance learning. The program makes it easy for smaller schools that don’t have scalable IT support to access enterprise-level support for students, parents and guardians, taking the burden off teachers and administrators.

“Educators, administrators, parents and students have a lot on their plate right now, and Stratix is simplifying remote education in a meaningful way,” said Louis Alterman, CEO of Stratix. “We manage the technology and logistics, helping schools get the most of their budgets and freeing up educators and administrative staffs to focus on doing what they do best. At Stratix, we are passionate about education and thrilled to be a part of making it better.”
