Pyramid Consulting has hired LaShaun Solomon as the Head of DE&I Partnership Development & Strategy. LaShaun’s role will oversee Pyramid’s intentionally inclusive efforts around diversity recruiting, employee and contingent staffing engagement, and community impact across the entire company portfolio which includes Pyramid Consulting, Solutions, ScaleUp, and GenSpark. She will report directly to Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer, Namita Tirath.
LaShaun comes to Pyramid with more than 13 years of experience in DE&I, marketing, business development, L&D, and operations for Fortune 50 companies including Comcast, NBCUniversal, HBO, Cox Communications, and global non-profit organizations. At Pyramid, her additional responsibilities will include reviewing our clients’ processes and controls against leading practice and industry frameworks to consult on improvements, designing activities of our DEI practice audit engagements, with a focus on strategic, operational and regulatory/compliance related risks, contributing to our company DEI knowledge base and internal practice development initiatives, developing core marketing assets and content to further business development.
LaShaun holds a Bachelors in Marketing from Berry College and a Masters of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. She has championed women equity leading strategic partnerships for the largest non-profit membership-based organization supporting the advancement of women and addressing disparities at the intersection of race/ethnicity and gender in media.
In 2021, LaShaun was awarded the Outstanding Community Impact Award by the Women of Color Initiative Atlanta Collaborative in Higher Education and recognized as a finalist for the Technology Association of Georgia for Emerging DE&I Tech Leader of the Year.
