ATLANTA (July 17, 2024) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the leading nonprofit dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of the state’s technology industry, today announced applications are officially open for the 2024 TAG Technology Awards. Presented by Earthlink, the annual TAG Technology Awards promote and celebrate the inclusive technology community throughout Georgia.
The 2024 awards celebration will take place at The Fabulous Fox Theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 6, beginning at 2 p.m., followed by a happy hour cocktail reception in The Fox lounge.
“We encourage any technology leader to apply, whether they are a startup founder, in the C-Suite of a thriving enterprise, leading a non-profit, or in education,” said TAG’s President & Chief Executive Officer, Larry K. Williams. “If you are paving the way for innovation in Georgia, we want to recognize you at the TAG Technology Awards.”
This annual event is the only award ceremony of its kind recognizing leaders in both the private and public sectors. Nominations are open to any company, organization and leader located and working in the state.
For the 2024 TAG Technology Awards, the categories include:
- Corporate Tech Leader of the Year
- Emerging Leader of the Year
- Government/Education/Non-profit (Public Servant) Tech Leader of the Year
- Innovation Driven Company – Startup ($1M)
- Innovation Driven Company – Small ($1M – $5M)
- Innovation Driven Company – Mid-Market ($5M – $50M)
- Innovation Driven Company – Enterprise ($50M+)
- Tech for Good
“The TAG Technology Awards will be a fantastic way to continue celebrating our milestone 25th anniversary year,” Williams continued. “Our mantra at TAG is to ‘Act Local, Think Global, and we’ve seen firsthand how Georgia companies can create a much larger socioeconomic impact.”
Nominations for the TAG Technology Awards are open until Aug. 16, 2024. Finalists will be announced in the fall, then celebrated at the awards ceremony on Nov. 6 at The Fox Theatre.
