By Larry K. Williams, TAG president and CEO

Tomorrow, many of us will gather with family and friends for Thanksgiving to share quality moments with loved ones and express thanks. I’d like to take this opportunity to express my own personal gratitude to the people who help make TAG the thriving organization that it is.

First, I’d like to thank the members of our board of directors for their willingness to serve. I am truly appreciative to you all for your commitment in sharing your passion, insight and experiences with our tech community. Thank you for taking the time to help move our organization forward. And, a special shoutout to board member Scott Waid for earning a Georgia ORBIE Award in recognition of his excellence in technology leadership!

Thank you, also, to the TAG team whose enthusiasm, creativity and hard work make our mission possible day in and day out. It is a privilege to witness your remarkable talents and skills. Not just this season, but all year long, I am grateful to be surrounded by such a dedicated team.

Finally, I want to recognize all of you who represent Georgia’s innovation ecosystem in all its diversity. Together, we’ve shared many successes, overcame many obstacles and keep on climbing. That you trust TAG to support your journey is truly humbling. I am honored to serve such a dynamic group, and my inclusion in Georgia 500 is truly a reflection of our community at large. All of you are helping Georgia move forward. After all, technology is a force without boundaries. It touches all of our lives. And it’s critical to the success of every organization.

I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving!
