Welcome to 2022. TAG is moving into the New Year with momentum, and you are invited to join in on an exciting journey in the months ahead.
TAG’s first signature event of 2022 is the TAG Technology Awards Feb. 17. This is our way of celebrating and promoting innovation and inclusivity in the technology ecosystem. Send nominations by the end of today, Jan. 7. On April 26 and 27, TAG is hosting the annual Georgia Technology Summit, and Fintech South will take place June 15 and 16.
If you want to engage with leaders in key facets of technology, get involved in a TAG society. Next up is a program on the record-shattering year in blockchain and cryptocurrencies Jan. 25. Then on Jan 28, TAG’s Fintech Society is hosting a panel discussion on InsureTech, a rapidly growing field.
With technology investment booming, the workforce needs to keep up with change. TAG-Ed, the education and training arm of TAG, is focused on filling the tech talent gap. TAG-Ed is proud to sponsor Georgia STEM Day March 4, and is hosting talent acquisition open house events on the third Thursday of every month. Later this year, TAG-Ed will enroll the second cohort of Pathways to Leadership, a career development program for high-potential professionals and a signature program for the organization. More than ever, TAG is committed to helping boost capacity in the workforce today to meet the demands of tomorrow.
Data security is another challenge we’re tackling. TAG leads this in tandem with the National Technology Security Coalition, which TAG created six years ago. NTSC kicks off the year with a CISO panel on 2022 strategic priorities.
There’s plenty more ahead as we begin 2022. The best way to avoid missing out is to join TAG where leaders come together to help each other and fuel the innovation economy.
