Georgia has a tremendous history of innovation, and every year TAG is honored to recognize that legacy.

I’m thrilled to announce Ben Chestnut, CEO and Co-Founder of Mailchimp, has been selected as the 2021 Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia inductee.

TAG will officially honor Ben at the Georgia Technology Summit on April 27, 2022 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Thanks to PwC for sponsoring this prestigious award since its inception in 1993. Honorees include a long list of visionaries, including: Georgia Gov. Zell Miller, technology industry leader Tom Noonan, and CNN founder Ted Turner.

It’s been a privilege to get to know Ben and watch his extraordinarily successful career journey. He founded Mailchimp in 2001 and built it into a leading marketing platform for small businesses. Last year, Mailchimp was sold to Intuit for $12 billion in the largest acquisition of its kind for a private company. Ben is also an active leader in the Atlanta community who serves on the advisory board for the Emory Center of Ethics.

“Ben is an entrepreneur who has delivered an innovative all-in-one platform built for small business growth, servicing customers worldwide, and powered by marketing automation and customer relationship management tools,” said Kevin Kelly, PwC Atlanta office Managing Partner.

I look forward to recognizing Ben in person, and I invite you to join me for this special occasion. Register for the 2022 Georgia Technology Summit to help honor Ben and the other legends of Georgia technology. While you’re there, you’ll also benefit from the inspired programming and enjoy great networking. This year’s live and in-person program is geared to helping businesses navigate the opportunities and risks of innovative new technologies.

See you at the World Congress Center April 26 and 27.
