TAG is preparing to set the stage for Fintech South next week and we look forward to celebrating Georgia’s dynamic and prospering financial technology community.
As one of the only global Fintech innovation centers, Georgia consistently expands its key technologies and services, and has done so through some extraordinarily difficult times. In 2020, Fintech products and services enabled essential service continuity. Today, Fintech technologies help improve the efficiencies of money movement at a time when skyrocketing interest rate growth and supply chain interruptions are impacting businesses big and small.
Nowadays, 210+ Fintech Georgia-based companies employ an estimated 42,000+ professionals. This number is growing by the day as more and more businesses realize the advantages Georgia has to offer. In fact, Fintech jobs have increased by almost 8% in the midst of the pandemic. And, the combined revenue of the top ten public Fintech companies with a significant presence in Georgia has grown to an impressive $49 billion (a 32% increase compared to the previous year).
You can find these statistics and more in the upcoming release of the 2022 TAG Fintech Ecosystem Report that will be revealed during Fintech South.
Next week, we’ll hear from 100+ speakers who represent the best of Fintech in Georgia and beyond. The Fintech South speaker lineup will feature startup founders, corporate CEOs and C-level executives, venture investors, financial regulators, retailers, top analysts and journalists, and leaders from the most important organizations throughout the Fintech ecosystem.
Some exciting additions include Cameron Bready, the President and COO of Global Payments, Lara Hodgson, CEO and Co-founder of NOW, Bill VanCuren, the Chief Information Officer of NCR Corporation, Kathryn Petralia, the Co-founder and President of Kabbage, Barry McCarthy, CEO of Deluxe, and many more.
So, be sure to join us at Fintech South from June 14th through the 15th at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta!
