Fintech South, scheduled for June 14th through the 15th, is more than an event during which individuals and the companies they represent network and obtain the latest content and insights about our thriving financial services industry. Fintech South is a moment in time to celebrate our region’s contributions to the fintech ecosystem and build meaningful momentum for the future.

As such, this past week, TAG has been setting the stage for two important Fintech South initiatives, starting with the 2022 Innovation Challenge led by co-chairs Qazi Haq and Jude Fils- Aime’.

The seven participating companies completed a four-week mentorship program to further develop their businesses, products and solutions. Three of the seven companies will later be selected as finalists and deliver a presentation live at Fintech South. Audiences will then vote on their favorite presentations, and the winner will receive a $25,000 cash prize and a free year of admission to the ATDC Accelerate program. This initiative is a great way for small fintech companies to grow and become the next success story of the state of Georgia!

In addition, TAG will announce next week, the thirteen companies that have been selected as finalists for the ADVANCE Award. This year, the ADVANCE Award co-chairs are Maria Luisa Pineda and Scott Mills. As part of Fintech South, the award seeks to recognize the companies that promote innovation and growth throughout Georgia’s fintech industry. Up to six of these thirteen finalists will be selected to receive the ADVANCE Award live on stage at Fintech South. To learn more: https://www.fintechsouth.com/awards/#advanceawards.
