Technology Association of Georgia
Larry Williams serves as President & CEO of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), one of the largest statewide technology associations in the U.S., representing more than 30,000 members. Now in its 25th year, TAG is focused on driving innovation, talent development, and forward-looking policy to keep Georgia competitive in the global tech economy.
With nearly a decade at the helm, Williams brings deep experience in both the public and private sectors. He has led international business and innovation efforts in Atlanta, Seattle, and Raleigh—cities recognized for their thriving tech ecosystems. His leadership is grounded in cross-sector collaboration, economic development, and scalable impact.
As Georgia continues its trajectory toward 450,000 full-time tech jobs by 2033, Williams is a key voice in strengthening the state’s talent pipeline, supporting entrepreneurship, and ensuring Georgia remains a hub for transformative technologies like AI and cybersecurity.
In addition to his role at TAG, Williams serves as Executive Director of the National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC), connecting CISOs with federal policymakers to shape national cybersecurity policy.

Chief Development Officer
Jason Patrick serves as Chief Development Officer for the Technology Association of Georgia.
Jason brings deep experience over 30 years building high performance, growth-focused organizations and teams in technology services, SaaS, and analytics. He has worked in a variety of strategic and executive positions at companies including Procure Analytics, Aptos LS Retail, Calero, SAP, and Ernst & Young. Jason is also a U.S. Army veteran.
Jason is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. in Systems Engineering and holds an M.S. in Systems Engineering (Health Systems) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Corporate Development Associate
Jamarius Cole brings a strong record of driving organizational success through strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and high-impact execution. Jamarius’ experience spans sales, client success, and event leadership, with a focus on planning and delivering summits, panel discussions, award ceremonies, and experiential programs. He has managed end-to-end operations including client engagement, contract negotiation, vendor management, sponsorship development, and event marketing, while also leading and coordinating teams of volunteers. Outside of work, Jamarius is an avid home chef who enjoys exploring different cultures and cuisines. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he’s known around the office as “Jam.”

Senior Director, Innovation & Partnership
Jessica Harris serves as Senior Director of Innovation & Partnerships at the Technology Association of Georgia, where she leads initiatives that strengthen collaboration and connection across Georgia’s technology ecosystem. She brings a strategic, partnership-driven approach to her work, focused on delivering meaningful value to TAG members and advancing innovation statewide.
Jessica has extensive experience convening leaders, developing high-impact programs, and building relationships that support thought leadership and community growth. Known for her people-first mindset, she is passionate about creating inclusive opportunities that bring Georgia’s tech community together through shared learning, engagement, and progress. She joined TAG in 2021.
Director of Member Services
Madeline Lipthrott joined the Technology Association of Georgia in 2018. She studied Journalism and Fashion Merchandising at the University of Georgia and has built her career in the technology industry, with experience across corporate events, marketing, and customer success. Known for her people-first approach, Madeline is especially passionate about supporting others and helping them succeed, which she finds to be the most rewarding part of her work. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and discovering new foods.
Member Services Associate
Lili Stevens-Orozco joined the Technology Association of Georgia in 2024. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from the University of Georgia, where she developed a strong foundation in communications, research, and storytelling.
Prior to joining TAG, Lili managed day-to-day operations and administrative functions as Office Manager for a family-owned HVAC business, gaining hands-on experience in small business operations. She also brings analytical and consulting experience from her role as an Analyst at a Digital Asset Management consultancy, where she supported data analysis, reporting, and operational workflows.
Outside of work, Lili enjoys traveling, hiking, and staying up to date on current events. You’ll often find her spending time outdoors with her golden retriever, Leo, who keeps life fun and active.
Membership Development Manager
Alex Passamichalis joined the Technology Association of Georgia in 2023 and brings a background rooted in education and relationship-building. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Towson University and takes a people-first approach to her work at TAG.
Prior to joining TAG, Alex spent five years as an elementary school teacher, where she honed strong communication skills and developed a passion for helping others succeed. She now applies that experience to building meaningful connections with members and supporting TAG’s growing community. Outside of work, Alex stays active playing on several coed soccer teams and can often be found at the dog park with her dog, Tux.
Senior Director of Corporate Development
Angel Whitworth is a creative sales and fundraising professional with deep experience in nonprofit and event-based fundraising. She is an enthusiastic relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people and cultivating meaningful partnerships.
Angel holds a degree in Music from the Art Institute of Atlanta and spent 15 years working with a major record label before transitioning into the nonprofit sector more than 20 years ago. Throughout her career, she has been driven by results and drawn to projects that create impact and help others.
With a strong background in sports, Angel has raised funds and traveled internationally with endurance sports teams. She is an avid football (soccer) fan and spends much of her free time supporting her favorite clubs, Atlanta United and West Ham United, where she currently serves on two supporter club boards. She also enjoys hiking.
Sr. Director Marketing & Communications
Emily Johnston is a marketing and communications leader with experience spanning startups and nonprofit organizations. She holds a MS in Marketing from Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business, and has built her career at the intersection of brand strategy, storytelling, and data-driven results.
Throughout her career, Emily has led high-impact marketing initiatives that increase visibility, engagement, and organizational impact. Her work has supported successful campaigns, major events, and sustained audience growth, with a focus on aligning marketing strategy to long-term business and mission-driven goals.
In her free time, she enjoys working with stained glass and staying connected to Atlanta’s creative and cultural scene. Emily joined TAG in 2025.
Digital Marketing Manager
Catherine Lora joined the Technology Association of Georgia in 2025. She holds a BBA in Marketing from Georgia State University and brings a strong track record of developing results-driven social media and marketing strategies for both B2B and B2C brands across healthcare, food and beverage, and beauty and wellness. Catherine has led the creation and execution of high-impact creative assets including web design, graphics, promotional materials, short-form video, and social content, ensuring consistency with brand standards while supporting long-term growth objectives. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, thrifting, and traveling.
Major Events Manager
Abby Walsh joined the Technology Association of Georgia in 2025. She holds a BS in Hospitality Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and brings a wealth of experience managing international B2B conferences and trade shows. Abby has led and planned educational and technical sessions across sectors including finance, energy efficiency, and manufacturing, with a focus on technical textiles and food production. Outside of work, she enjoys line dancing, reading, and exploring new dishes.
Vice President, Public Affairs
Mason Rainey joined TAG in 2022, where he serves as Vice President of Public Affairs, leading government relations at the state and federal level, overseeing the organization’s policy agenda, and managing the TAG Political Action Committee. His portfolio spans major technology policy issues, including artificial intelligence, data privacy, digital infrastructure, workforce development, and tech talent pipelines.
Before joining TAG, Mason served in senior roles across state government and political campaigns, including as Legislative Affairs and Communications Director at the Georgia Department of Revenue and in leadership positions on state legislative, gubernatorial, and congressional races. His work focuses on building durable coalitions between industry and policymakers to advance Georgia’s technology ecosystem.
Chief of Staff & Operations
Rebecca Brubaker is the Chief of Staff and Operations Officer for the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). Responsible for organization strategy, finance, operations, and board management since 2018, she thrives on giving order to chaos and making others successful.
With more than 30 years of experience working with many of Atlanta’s great organizations, Rebecca is dedicated to building relationships, creating results-driven programs and evolving volunteer and sales initiatives to accomplish success in a dynamic environment. Rebecca served as the Chief Development Officer for the Atlanta Police Foundation (APF), successfully raising $23 million, exceeding the campaign goal and helping to make a safer Atlanta. Prior to joining APF, Rebecca served as Vice President of Membership Development & Fundraising at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), where she managed membership development and budgets for internal sales, campaign fundraising and volunteer coordination. Each of the last seven years the teams Rebecca managed produced more than $6 million for MAC programs and services, while reducing costs significantly through compensation evaluation, strategic partnerships and creative problem solving.
After growing up in Delaware, Rebecca came “home” to earn her degree in marketing from the University of Georgia. Rebecca and her husband, Alan, live in the heart of Atlanta, enjoying all the city has to offer. Her passions include food, travel and SEC football.
Associate Director, Accounting
Kellie Jackson joined the Technology Association of Georgia in 2017 as Associate Director of Accounting. A native of New Orleans, LA, she attended Louisiana State University and brings a background in accounting within the hotel industry. Kellie values teamwork and strong relationships, guided by the belief that treating people the way you want to be treated is still the golden rule. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, fishing, and gardening.
Executive Director, TAG Education Collaborative
Dr. Loretta Daniels, Executive Director of TAG Education Collaborative, is an expert in organizational leadership, artificial intelligence–enabled leadership, DEI, conflict management, and communication. She specializes in helping organizations navigate cultural transformation, leadership effectiveness, and workforce readiness in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
As an executive leader in the corporate arena, Dr. Daniels has served in senior leadership roles including Chief Operations Officer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Executive Director of Sales Operations, and General Manager. Her executive experience spans strategic growth, organizational change, and talent development. She is also the author of corporate training manuals Leading by Example and Fast Track to Excellence, which focus on leadership accountability, performance, and organizational culture.
As the former Executive Director of Corporate Relations at Kennesaw State University (KSU), Dr. Daniels partnered with medium and large organizations to define and deliver leadership growth and workforce development certificate programs aligned with organizational vision, business objectives, and evolving workforce demands. In this role, she worked closely with industry leaders to integrate leadership development, digital transformation, and data-informed decision-making into executive education programs.
Dr. Daniels has partnered extensively with C-suite leaders and HR executives to assess leadership development goals, identify skills gaps, implement cultural and workplace initiatives, and advance gender pay equity and equitable hiring practices. Her advisory work increasingly focuses on how artificial intelligence is reshaping leadership roles, decision-making processes, organizational structures, and workforce strategy. She has advised executive teams, including Presidents, Chief Diversity Officers, and senior leadership councils on aligning strategies with AI adoption, ethical leadership, and organizational resilience. She also served as Co-Chair of the University Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Presidential Commission on Gender & Work-Life Issues, contributing to institution-wide policy and cultural change.
An adjunct instructor of Leadership at KSU since 2002, Dr. Daniels has delivered both in-class and online instruction designed to help students apply leadership fundamentals to real-world organizational challenges. Courses taught include Corporate Communication and Conflict Resolution, Human Communication, Public Speaking, Writing for Public Communication, and Foundations of Leadership. Her teaching and curriculum development increasingly emphasize AI-informed leadership, critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and the human skills required to lead alongside intelligent systems. She also designed the Coursera Specialty Certificate, Advanced Leadership Skills for the 21st Century, expanding access to modern leadership education.
Dr. Daniels holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organizational Leadership from Johnson University, a Master of Science (MS) in Conflict Management, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Kennesaw State University. She is a Certified Diversity Professional and the author of For Women Only, Women Mean Business (J & W Publishers, 1992) and Unlock Your Success: A Comprehensive Guide for Starting a Successful Business (J & W Publishers, 2006).
Her most recent book, Organizational Leaders, published by SAGE Publications and scheduled for release in September 2026, offers a contemporary framework for organizational leadership in a rapidly evolving global business environment. The work addresses the paradigm shift facing leaders today, including the integration of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and human-centered leadership practices necessary for sustainable organizational success.
Program Manager, TAG-Ed
Bebita Metellus is a Program Manager with TAG-Ed, joining the organization in 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and an MBA in HR Management. Born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she is bilingual, speaks two languages fluently, and is an intermediate Spanish speaker. Bebita leads education and workforce programs across Georgia and is passionate about expanding access to technology education and building strong community partnerships.
In her free time, Bebita volunteers at her church, supports the Haitian community as they adjust to life in the United States, and enjoys traveling anywhere there’s a beach and ocean.
Marketing Coordinator, TAG-Ed
Michael Yelton joined the Technology Association of Georgia in 2025. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications from Oglethorpe University and brings a creative background shaped by freelance design and video work, as well as marketing internships with nonprofit and arts organizations, including Georgia Ensemble Theatre.
An Atlanta native, Michael is passionate about visual storytelling and, outside of work, enjoys honing his skills through drawing and painting.
