The last few years have presented the opportunity to have conversations – followed by actions – that are long overdue when it comes to diversity, equity, and inclusion. In business communities around the world, leaders are increasingly trying to find ways to be a part of the solution when it comes to issues of race and equality in the workplace.
In this context, it’s become abundantly clear that one-time anti-bias training sessions aren’t nearly enough to create the right environment for real change. If companies want to be the places where people are proud to work and where they can thrive, they must provide room for transparent dialogue and conversations that cultivate understanding and equal access to growth and opportunity. This approach requires a commitment to lifelong learning, personal introspection and openness to others.
This is true everywhere but particularly in Georgia, where we have an incredibly diverse pool of talent that attracts companies who want to boost their DE&I strategies.
