Rare Enigma Exhibit Coming to Roswell

The Computer Museum of America (CMoA) located in Roswell, Georgia is planning to unveil a fully restored, operational Enigma machine. The World War II-era cipher computer was made famous in the 2014 film The Imitation Game about revolutionary code breaking work by Alan Turing (played by Benedict Cumberbatch).

CMoA will host a special opening event on Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. to mark the first public viewing of this Enigma machine in Georgia. Ticketed guests will have the rare opportunity to slip on a white glove and use the machine before it goes on exhibit at CMoA. British Consul General, Andrew Staunton will speak as well as Dr. Kristie Macrakis of Georgia Tech who specializes in the history of espionage and technology.
