MegaTrends: Mobile Health
A panel of industry experts discuss innovations in Mobile Health
ATLANTA- (September 21, 2015) –The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced that the TAG Southeastern Software Association will host a panel of industry experts discussing mobile healthcare at Heritage Hall in Sandy Springs on November 12, 2015. The keynote speaker will be Stephen Fleming, Vice President of the Georgia Institute of Technology Innovation Center and Manager of ATDC. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Benn Konsynski, George S. Craft Distinguished University Professor, Goizueta Business School, Emory University. Panelists include Andrea Busse, CEO, Circle Interactive Technologies; Jason Burnham, Associate Director, Patient Care Solutions, Halyard; Jim Rosenblum, Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, CareLogistics; and Michele Madison, Partner, Healthcare Practice, Morris, Manning, & Martin.
Mobile Health is loosely defined as the dynamic and highly personalized mobile experiences that drive specific action in the practice of medicine. mHealth tools can deliver cost savings and better outcomes in hospital settings as well as in home-based care and is projected to be a $26 billion industry by 2017. Join us in a discussion with legal advisors and mobile innovators involved in mHealth who are striving to drive new tools forward while security and data access remain prime concerns.
