TAG BI/A Society Reveals Finalists for Annual Innovation Awards
ATLANTA (October 31, 2013) – The Technology Association of Georgia in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI/A) Society of TAG, today announced the finalists for the 2013 BI/A Innovation Awards.
“This year we had over 20 nominations representing a broad base of innovative companies in Georgia. Many of these organizations are combining internal and external data to predict potential outcomes and shift their strategy to drive new sources of revenue. The face of BI is changing rapidly.” says Greg Boyd, TAG BI/A Society Co-Chair.
The annual event recognizes leaders in the Enterprise and SMB spaces for their development and application of BI, Business Analytics, Big Data, Predictive Analytics and more. This year’s finalists include:

- Emory University
- Georgia Southern University
Winners will be selected from among the finalist by an all-star lineup of judges including
Earthlink VP, Tracy Ariail ; Larry Clark, CIO at PSA; Jay Ferro, CIO at the American Cancer Society; Cbeyond Executive VP Joe Oesterling; Carlos Navarro, Latin America President for Elavon and Ken Russell, CIO at Stag-Parkway.

The Judges will participate in the program on November 12, 2013 in a panel discussion regarding the current state and future outlook of Business Intelligence and Analytics. The event will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center, 246 Perimeter Center Parkway.
