Samsung’s Innovative Change Agent, Alanna Cotton, to Speak at The Summit

Georgia’s Largest Technology Showcase Spotlights Innovation


ATLANTA, GA -- March 6, 2018 – Alanna Cotton, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Computing & Wearables at Samsung Electronics America, will be a keynote speaker at Georgia’s largest technology showcase, The Summit, on March 21st at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

Known for transforming brands and businesses, Cotton will share how she drives growth and innovation across Samsung’s virtual reality, wearables and computing portfolio, while addressing the demands of consumers and building a diverse cross-functional team.


Named to Dealerscope’s Most Powerful Women in Consumer Technology, Cotton has held a number of executive positions including leading sales and marketing functions at Fortune 50 leaders Procter and Gamble and PepsiCo.  Her leadership of large field-based organizations, national customer sales teams, and marketing and brand teams has led to her General Management approach, delivering stellar performance repeatedly. Cotton will be joining other keynotes at The Summit, such as Barry Simpson, SVP & CIO of The Coca-Cola Company, and futurist Thornton May.


The Summit is the Technology Association of Georgia’s largest annual event and is expected to draw more than 1,400 C-level technology executives, entrepreneurs and academic leaders from around the world.


The event will feature nationally recognized keynote speakers, winners of the Top 40 and Top 10 Innovative Georgia Companies competition, the newest inductee into the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia, networking opportunities, and a two-day exhibitor showcase. Through interactive strategy sessions and more than a dozen breakout sessions, attendees will help chart the course for the State’s technology community for the coming year and beyond.


Attendees will enhance their knowledge of the most important global tech trends and be inspired by industry leaders at The Summit – an event designed to fuel the tech innovation economy.
