As the entire healthcare system scrambles to address gaps and challenges created by the COVID-19 outbreak, rural communities face unique challenges. With fewer providers, older and sicker populations, and higher socioeconomic barriers to care, COVID-19 is placing more stress on an already taxed portion of the provider community.
