Caring for the Rural Health Community During COVID-19—Telehealth Success
As the entire healthcare system scrambles to address gaps and challenges created by the COVID-19 outbreak, rural communities face unique challenges. With fewer providers, older and sicker populations, and higher socioeconomic barriers to care, COVID-19 is placing more stress on an already taxed portion of the provider community.
To support rural providers, Azalea Health is offering free telehealth to current EHR clients. In addition, Azalea created a stand-alone, low-cost remote patient care solution for providers who are unable to transition to Azalea Health’s EHR but still require a complete, end-to-end solution to manage remote patients.
