Overview

JOIN TAG

You are new in town and ambitious to take charge of your career. Others sit back and wait for their bosses to move on so that they can move up; you’re too hungry for success to wait around. Instead, you find the largest technology, networking organization in the Southeast, so that you can swap ideas with your peers as much as you swap business cards.

At TAG Young Professionals, we bring in top talent to share their experiences and offer guidance and inspiration to you. Our society covers topics such as: mentorship, resume tweaks, effective networking, where to give your time outside the office, and more. You will have the opportunity to speak with Directors, VP’s and C-level executives about their path to the top and how it translates to you.

TAG Young Professionals is here to help you develop your career and expand your horizons, while making lasting friendships along the way.

Our Mission

1) To create a place where self-motivated technology professionals can join each other in an environment that fosters networking and the exchange of ideas.

2) To aid your professional development by giving you the tools and guidance necessary to get everything you can out of your career.

3) To bring top technology executives to TAG Young Professional’s events, so that they can find their company’s next rock star.

EVENT DETAILS
Parking: Upon arrival into the main entrance (look for the big high sign with our orange peach logo), the parking lot will be to your left (on slight hill). After exiting your vehicle, look left for the fence covered walkway (affectionately known as “the cage”) with the Product Rescue Center Volunteers sign. Follow the fenced walkway to the PRC door.
Dress Code: Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required, with sneakers or work boots recommended. Flips flops, sandals or heeled shoes are not allowed. Please wear comfortable clothing you do not mind getting a bit rumpled.
About the Product Rescue Center:
The Product Rescue Center (PRC) provides a great hands-on experience in a diverse and social atmosphere. Groups and individual volunteers come together to inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to over 600 partner agencies across Georgia.
Food Donations: With 1 in every 5 Georgians and 1 in 4 Georgia children at risk of hunger, the number of people requesting emergency food assistance continues to grow. If every volunteer visiting our Product Rescue Center brings just two cans of food, we would be able to provide approximately 2,750 additional meals each month!
NOTE: You must have 1 adult for every 4 children (8-12 years) and 1 adult for every 8 youth (13-18).  NO MINORS without parental units please!
*If you have children, download this form to print and bring with you: https://acfb.volunteerhub.com/go/u/521
*Please consider bringing as many nonperishable items as you can! You're already making a tremendous difference by volunteering. Think how much that can be magnified by grabbing a couple of food items to bring with you when you come! We're always in need of natural peanut butter, canned chicken, and canned fruits & vegetables. Click here for our full list of most needed food items: http://www.acfb.org/food-fund-drives
Thank you for volunteering with us!
