By Larry K. Williams, TAG president and CEO

TAG is proud to introduce the 2022 Top 40 most innovative companies in Georgia. By attending or sponsoring the Georgia Technology Summit April 26 and 27 at the Georgia World Congress Center, you’ll get to know these new businesses before they take off.

The TAG Top 40 program has an excellent track record of predicting future success. Twenty TAG Top 40 alumni—winners from prior years—earned recognition on the 2021 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the United States.

So when you look at the impressive roster of this year’s TAG Top 40 winners, you could get a sneak peek at businesses that rank in tomorrow’s Inc. 5000. You might even see some future unicorns—tech startups that reach $1 billion valuation.

Congratulations to each one of the 41 of this year’s Top 40 winners (we had to add an extra because two companies tied for a spot on the list). Also special thank you to our Top 40 sponsors Amazon Web Services (AWS), Best Buy, and Comcast Business, and to our Top 40 Committee Chair, Dennis Zakas.

How are Top 40 members chosen? Nominations came from individuals in their respective companies or from external public relations agencies. The TAG Top 40 committee, comprised of technology and investment leaders, presided over the judging of applications. Judges reviewed applications based on the company’s innovation; the market need that their innovation addresses; and how the innovation benefits the Georgia technology economy.

All TAG Top 40 winners will have a chance to showcase their company’s work at the Georgia Technology Summit. The Top 10 most innovative companies will make a presentation on the main stage on April 27.

I can’t wait to learn more about these up-and-coming businesses, and I invite you to join me in doing so. All you need to do is register for the Georgia Technology Summit for this special opportunity to meet the next generation of tech leaders.
