WHO WE ARE

The TAG Data Science & AI Society is dedicated to connecting and inspiring analytical minds to foster innovative applications of data. Each year, we honor the best and brightest thought leaders and innovators across industry sectors through our DS&AI Innovator of the Year Awards.

Our goal is to recognize and celebrate peers who are driving meaningful innovation in data science and AI—and to continue encouraging progress in this ever-evolving field.

THE STEPS FOR THE AWARD INCLUDE:

• Nominations are accepted from both the Technology Association of Georgia and the broader community
• Finalists are selected through a voting process led by the TAG Data Science & AI Board
• Honorees formally accept the award as recognized leaders in the space

The awards consider a wide range of nominations from across industry, consulting, government, and academia. We spotlight impactful developers, knowledge-creators, advocates, and thought leaders making strides in data science and AI.

Eligible nominees must represent organizations with 100 or more employees (independent contractors are not eligible). Professionals at all levels are considered, with a special Rising Star recognition for emerging talent.

A SINGLE WINNER WILL BE SELECTED FROM EACH OF THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:

Healthcare & Life Sciences
– Hospitals, clinics, biotech, health tech, and public health organizations driving innovation in care delivery, diagnostics, or population health.

Education & Workforce Development
– K–12, higher education, certification programs, and workforce organizations transforming how people learn, grow, and reskill.

Public Sector, Government & Nonprofit
– Government agencies, public institutions, and nonprofits leading innovations that address critical societal or civic challenges.

Retail, Consumer & Hospitality
– Organizations enhancing customer experience, personalization, or operational efficiency in consumer-facing industries.

Manufacturing, Energy & Supply Chain
– Leaders in logistics, industrial automation, energy efficiency, and smart infrastructure within production environments.

Financial Services & Insurance
– Breakthroughs in fraud detection, financial inclusion, automation, or customer experience across banking and insurance sectors.

Media, Sports & Entertainment
– Innovations in digital engagement, content personalization, fan experiences, or media analytics.

Professional Products, Platforms & Services
– Consulting firms, technology providers, and other solution-driven companies serving client needs through products or services.

NOMINATE A DATA & AI TRAILBLAZER

Do you know someone redefining what’s possible through data science and AI—making a measurable impact in Georgia? Nominate a colleague—or yourself—for the 2025 TAG Data Science & AI Innovator of the Year Award.

We’re seeking individuals who demonstrate bold, collaborative, and impactful innovation while uplifting others and maintaining the highest standards of ethical and responsible practice.

Winners from each category will be recognized during our December 3, 2025 event.

Note: Individuals who wish to self-nominate must
have at least 3 years of professional experience in
the field of data science or AI.
