Calling all FinTech experts - please participate in the TAG FinTech/Georgia Tech survey on Georgia's FinTech climate!
TAG FinTech, in collaboration with Georgia Tech’s Scheller School of Business, is pleased to announce an update to our popular 2012 FinTech Ecosystem whitepaper, and we need your expertise! As a FinTech industry influencer, we ask for your help in a survey to gather perspectives on the state of Georgia’s FinTech ecosystem and culture.
The survey will only take about 10 minutes to complete, and is a unique opportunity to let your voice be heard. The whitepaper will be released at the TAG FinTech GA 2016 Symposium, on Thursday February 4, 2016. Share your expertise - tell us what you think!

In 2012, TAG’s FinTech society issued a white paper documenting our region’s status as the epicenter of the financial technology industry, with over 60 percent of global card-based payment transactions running through the networks of Georgia companies.
This report was widely read, frequently cited, and helped raise the visibility of Georgia’s FinTech community. We have received numerous requests for updates to some of its key metrics. Consequently, TAG FinTech has partnered with Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business to research and author a new report on Georgia’s FinTech industry.
Our v2.0 white paper will highlight the culture of innovation in bloom across the 70+ Georgia-based FinTech companies. We will again feature a compilation of industry data, accompanied by expert analysis, as well as an update to our popular map of area FinTech firms . An ongoing series of executive interviews with industry leaders will further inform the narrative and case studies.
Another key input will be an online survey, for which we ask your assistance. We aim to gather and share a broad-based, authoritative perspective on the Georgia FinTech ecosystem drawn from the responses of professionals who understand it best. We plan to issue this survey in early September; if you are on the TAG FinTech mailing list you will receive an email invitation to participate. A link will also be available at this site.
We plan to issue the white paper in time for TAG’s FinTech GA annual symposium in February. We’ll share ongoing progress reports on this site along the way. If you have specific questions or suggestions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for your ongoing support of Georgia’s FinTech community!
