Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) in partnership with the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) will host the 3rd Annual Mobility Live! Hack-Back


ATLANTA, GA (September 28, 2016) – Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) will host the GSMA Mobility Live! – North America Hack-Back which will begin on October 4th and run until November 2nd.

The 3rd annual coding challenge is expected to draw teams of programmers from across the state to compete for $10,000 in cash and prizes, while helping to give (hack) back to the nation’s leading non-profit organization, United Way. The United way strives to create a thriving community by support issues most strongly affecting child, family and community well-being.


Competing teams will develop mobility solutions related to data visualization and personalized portals for the United Way. After a preliminary judging on October 26, selected Hack-Back finalists will present their projects on stage at GSMA Mobility Live! – North America in Atlanta on November 2nd. Judges will include representatives from United Way, mobility industry leadership, and investors.
 
The competition will kick off at General Assembly Atlanta 6:00-8:00pm. The event will feature IT executives from United Way and Leading experts in mobility industry for a panel discussion in which they will share the significance of technology and mobility on their organizations, and the advice they will offer for the hackathon.
 
Mobility Live! Hack-Back Invitational is held in conjunction with Mobility Live! which brings together key thought leaders and decision makers in the areas of mobile technology standards, strategies and innovations.
