Reed’s talk, titled Find Your Message: The pitch perfect workshop for TAG Savannah, will address the important and relevant concerns of business owners, sales teams, and marketing department across industry, scale and sector, such as how to inspire action following sales meetings. He will reveal a framework for elevating the sales conversation beyond just products and services to a customer-centric “cause". Teaching a simple five-point blueprint will help attendees make any pitch more effective. He also will share the essential skill of aligning sales and marketing around the same message.
Reed is Co-founder of PitchMaps, a consulting firm that specializes in B2B sales messaging. He writes and speaks regularly about brand positioning and sales messaging. Reed is a graduate of Georgia Tech and has an MBA from Georgia State. He recently served as Chair of the TAG Marketing Society and was previously President of the Georgia Tech Business Network. PitchMaps helps B2B companies find their message. Their clients range from Fortune 500s to younger, high-growth companies. Typically, their clients are struggling with a complex message, a “me too” message, or mixed messages that make it difficult to stand out in a crowded marketplace. With a better answer to the “What do you do?” question, PitchMaps helps companies achieve higher win rates, lower price pressure, and more alignment across the organization.
