ATLANTA, GA -- August 15, 2017 – The National Technology Security Coalition will hold its first annual NTSC National CISO Policy Conference on October 5, 2017 at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta. Uniquely focused on national cybersecurity policy, this conference will include updates on the NTSC’s cybersecurity progress on Capitol Hill while also facilitating dialogue, education, and networking connections with people who influence cybersecurity policy in Washington D.C.

Underwriters include IBM Security, Juniper Networks, and Ionic Security. A limited number of underwriter opportunities are still available that include participation in a VIP reception and dinner with CISOs the evening before the event.

“This inaugural conference will provide an opportunity for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and other cybersecurity stakeholders to educate policymakers about issues impacting their businesses and ensure that the policy priorities of the cybersecurity industry are heard on Capitol Hill,” said Patrick Gaul, Executive Director of the NTSC. “In addition to CISOs from across the United States, attendees will also include CIOs, CTOs, and other technology security executives along with government representatives involved with cybersecurity.”

An invitation-only event for CISOs and cybersecurity policy stakeholders, the NTSC National CISO Policy Conference will conclude Atlanta Cyber Week—a week of exciting Atlanta cybersecurity activity that includes Baker Donelson’s Cybersecurity Accelerator Meetup and Cybercon 2017.

The NTSC provides a platform for CISOs to advocate for beneficial legislative and regulatory policies. We encourage dialogue about cybersecurity issues, laws, and regulations through advocacy engagement with congressional members, regional CISO policy roundtables, our annual DC Fly-In, and our National CISO Policy Conference.

Our prestigious board of CISOs represents leading companies including Aaron’s, Aetna, Aflac, AutoNation, Cox Automotive, Discover Financial Services, Ellie Mae, Epsilon, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services, IAC/InterActiveCorp, Johnson & Johnson, MoneyGram International, Motorola Mobility, NCR, SunTrust, Synovus, TaxSlayer, Torchmark, Turner, US Bank, Worldpay, and Yum! Brands.
