Join TAG for a Day at the Races:  Atlanta Steeplechase 

The 2016 Atlanta Steeplechase is a day filled with horse races, networking, hat contest and more. 

Kingston Downs, GA- (March 30th, 2016) –The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, TAG International Business and the Atlanta Consular Corps, today announced that they will be hosting a tent at the April 23rd 51st annual Steeplechase in Kingston Downs, GA. Gates open at 10:00am and the TAG tent will be open at 12:00pm. Races begin at 1:30pm and go until 5:00pm. The Steeplechase is a fun event with more than just horse jumping. Attendees will have access to the foxhound parade, children’s activities, terrier races, and a hat contest for both the TAG tent and the entire race. Held annually for the last 50 years, the Atlanta Steeplechase has become a favorite outing for some of Atlanta’s most prestigious corporations.  

Join TAG, TAG International Business and the Atlanta Consular Corps for an eventful fun day. Gandy Thomas, Consulate General of Haiti and Dean of the Atlanta Consular Corps, Tino Mantella, CEO of TAG, and Phillip Bolton President and Publisher of GlobalAtlanta, will be cheering on the horses alongside other influential Domestic and International Business "celebrities" based in Atlanta. Come experience Georgia's best horse racing venue for an unforgettable day of American jump racing.

Tickets include lunch, fine wine and craft beer catered by il Giallo Osteria & Bar, a delicious Italian restaurant located in Sandy Springs. Men should wear spring wear and their most interesting tie. Ladies are encouraged to wear their best hat for a chance to win the Hat Contest.
