2016 TAG SSA Impact Awards Winners Announced 

Awards recognize excellence in the region’s Software Industry.

 

ATLANTA (May 9, 2016) –TAG Southeastern Software Association (SSA), one of the founding members of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), announced the winners for the seventh annual TAG SSA Impact Awards.

 

The Impact Awards ceremony was held at the Hyatt Regency Suites in Marietta, Georgia on Thursday, April 28th, 2016.  The presenter was Bruce King, Director of Jabian Consulting and the panel moderator was John Yates, Partner of Morris, Manning and Martin.

The panelists were Dennis Hayes, Founder and Former CEO of Hayes Microcomputers Products, Harvey Shuster, Former CFO of Peachtree Software, and Don House, Former Senior Executive of MSA.

 

The Impact Awards recognize companies and their teams who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in bringing new technology solutions to the market.  Cherry Bekaert, Quality Technology Services, and TriNet were sponsors for the event.

 

This year’s winners were chosen from among 20 finalists in 5 categories:

“From over 115 applications this year, the TAG SSA Impact Awards Selection Committee carefully reviewed and scored the applications on three criteria: (1) business impact; (2) complexity of the solution, and; (3) creativity of the solution. With that in mind, I want to personally extend my congratulations to all finalists who are represented here this evening,” said Christine Collins, of TriNet and TAG SSA Chair.  

“The Southeast has a vibrant and growing software industry, and Georgia is the central hub. The nominees, applicants and finalists for this year’s Impact Awards are excellent examples of software innovation and leadership happening right here in Georgia,” said Collins.
