Ben McKeeby, CIO, Grady Hospital
Ben McKeeby joined Grady in 2010 and was named Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer in 2014. He is responsible for overseeing all clinical and business systems and the technology infrastructure for the health system. Before coming to Grady, Ben was a healthcare technology consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he assisted various organizations through many transformative initiatives. A graduate of the University of Florida, Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Decision and Information Science. Ben serves on the Georgia Health Information Exchange Technology Committee and is active in many charitable, healthcare and technology organizations.
Keith Rye, CEO, CivicHealth
Keith Rye is a seasoned healthcare CEO, thought leader and strategist with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Keith’s experience includes leadership positions in some of the nation’s largest healthcare provider systems, including HCA and HealthTrust. He has led highly successful business development strategies for a number of start-up and merger/acquisition ventures, including Strategic Health Services and M2G. He has also served as Co-founder, Chief Operating Officer, Board member and investor of Gordian Health Solutions, a national health and wellness company. He holds a dual degree in mathematics and business administration from The Citadel, and a MBA degree from Belmont University.
Ryan Sloan, Chief Marketing Officer, SoloHealth
Ryan Sloan oversees consumer marketing, product strategy, partnerships, and new business ventures for SoloHealth. Prior to his time at SoloHealth, Ryan spent 12 years with Aetna in Corporate Strategy, Sales and P&L Management. He led a high-profile division to exceed an aggressive 2012 Sales Plan by 40%, accounting for one third of Aetna’s growth that year. He worked closely with leaders from premier health systems and medical groups across the country to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for launch of 12 joint products. Ryan holds a BA in Economics from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Sheri Chernetsky Tejedor, MD, Chief Research Information Officer, Emory School of Medicine, and Medical Director of Analytics for Emory Healthcare
Dr. Tejedor is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, Chief Research Information Officer for Emory School of Medicine and Medical Director of Analytics for Emory Healthcare. Her informatics research is focuses on innovative methods of leveraging the electronic medical record to track invasive device use for public reporting of hospital acquired conditions. Her work in Quality Improvement has also focused on invasive device (central lines, urinary catheters) utilization and provider awareness of these devices. She serves on the Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she also served her internship and residency.
Dr. Kimberly Rask, Chief Data Officer, Alliant Health Solutions (moderator)
Kimberly J. Rask, MD PhD is Chief Data Officer at Alliant Health Solutions, a nonprofit company supporting quality improvement in public sector healthcare programs including Medicare, Medicaid and End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Networks across the Southeastern US. A primary care physician and health economist, she also holds joint appointments in Health Policy and Management and Medicine at Emory University. She has published book chapters and peer-reviewed articles on primary care practice, cost-effectiveness, quality improvement and outcomes measurement. With more than 20 years of experience in quality measurement research and practice, she serves on national expert panels that review hospital value-based purchasing programs and quality indicators for performance measurement.
