Employers & Job Seekers: Register Online Today for the October 27th Event

Join TAG for the annual Hire-A-Hero Career Fair hosted on Fort Gordon in Augusta, GA. This event is just a small way that we can give back to the soldiers who have fought for our freedom. Let’s work to get these soldiers out of camo and into khakis!

Here is your company's opportunity to hire a skilled veteran (our heroes) while filling one or more of those tough to fill tech jobs.  TAG is partnering with Fort Gordon (Augusta) to host a job fair on October 27th from 10am-2pm on base.  With sequestration and roughly 1,800 tech-ready military that are transitioning out, there will be ideal jobseekers at this job fair.  Since we have nearly 4,000 tech jobs open in Georgia, it was natural to strike up a partnership.

Who Should Participate?

Employers: We encourage companies to attend that currently have job openings that need to be filled. Please keep in mind that these soldiers have such a vast array of skills and experience in nearly all fields of the workforce.

If you do not have military ID to get on base, you will need to fill out this form and send to hpresley@tagonline.org to get on base.

Soldiers/Job Seekers: If you are a soldier looking to transition into the civilian workforce, this fair would greatly benefit you to attend. We also encourage not just soldiers to attend this fair, but spouses/family and friends of military are welcome as well!
