For our December 8th event, we are seeking companies who have solutions in the areas of:
Connecting Georgia's Companies is a biannual event that presents Georgia-based solutions to an audience of CIOs, CTOs, and Information Managers. The goal of this event is to connect pre-qualified TAG-member companies with Georgia's technology buyers. For the CIO, it is a unique opportunity to hear from TAG-approved “vendor” companies based here in Georgia. This program will also give CIOs the opportunity to hear about new technologies from smaller companies that would not usually be seen in a crowd. CIOs will also be able to ask questions after every presentation. Following the event there will be a cocktail reception and an opportunity to visit our TAG member company exhibit booths.
For the companies, this is the ultimate opportunity. Up to nine TAG-member companies will be selected to present their solutions to a prestigious group of Georgia GIOs. Companies will be selected based on submitted RFIs and given support and counsel on their presentations preceding the event. On December 8th, the selected companies will be given 5 minutes to present to a group of CIOs from Georgia’s best companies. They will also get up to 5 minutes of Q&A from the CIOs. Following the event, every company will receive a ‘report card’ from the audience and will be noted on the TAG website as being a selected company.
Interested companies must submit a completed RFI by 5pm on November 18. To be eligible to participate, your company must be a TAG corporate or premier member. Smaller companies and Start-up Members with less than $1 million in annual sales may apply for an exception to the membership requirement. All presenting companies, regardless of size, must have a TAG membership.
Your company needs to be available for a pre-event presentation review the week of December 1st and your company must also be available to present the 8th.
Completed responses should be emailed to Ashook@tagonline.org as soon as possible and no later than November 18th at 5pm.
ATLANTA (October 26, 2009) - Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and the Atlanta Chapter of the Society for Information Management are soliciting "Request for Information" (RFI) responses from Georgia-based vendors who have innovative solutions to this year's selected focus areas. Those companies whose RFIs are selected will have the opportunity to present to a group of CIOs, CTOs, and Information Managers at the December 10th event. The focus areas were selected based on survey responses by SIM Atlanta members. Companies who have products and solutions in these focus areas should submit a completed RFI response by November 18th.
For this upcoming session, the selected focus areas are Reporting and Analytics; Continuity & Disaster Recovery; Information Lifecycle Management; and ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading). TAG and SIM Atlanta will accept up to 9 TAG-member companies to present their solutions to a prestigious group of Georgia CIOs, CTOs, and technology buyers.
Those selected companies will also be given support and counsel on their presentations preceding the event in preparation for their five minutes presentation and five minutes of Q&A. The event will also include a networking reception and exhibit booths from sponsoring companies. For additional information on the event and/or how to submit an RFI please visit http://www.tagonline.org/ConnectGA.php or contact TAG. The deadline for submitting an RFI is 5 p.m. November 18th.
