TAG North Metro August featuring Maureen Davis, Systems Assistant Vice President at StateFarm

Our 2015 theme will focus on “Pivoting for Relevance”. During this high-tech age of constant innovation, it seems almost inevitable that a leader will, at some point during his career, face a very critical decision of when to stay the course versus when to shift direction. The late Winston Churchill wrote, “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.” This seems to strike a chord among startups as well as more established businesses today, who are constantly faced with how to tweak their original vision to accommodate changes in technology, environment, and customers; while staying grounded in what they already know. For our 2015 luncheon series, we are excited to host a lineup of speakers who will speak on ‘pivoting for relevance’, and how they have used their expertise within their role to spot new trends, optimize the market fit, and ultimately spearhead a shift in direction that hopes to fulfill a need as well grow the business.
