Prior to Cambia, Joan was CEO of XcelleNet, Inc., an industry leader remote and mobile systems management. Joan was the driving force behind the re-emergence of XcelleNet after its divesture from Sterling Commerce in early 2000. She steered the company into aggressively pursuing the emerging wireless market, which led to an acquisition by Sybase in May 2004. Joan also held various general management and marketing positions during her 10-year career at XcelleNet. Before joining XcelleNet, Joan was with Digital Communications Associates (DCA) from 1987 to 1995, where she served as Senior Product Line Manager responsible for marketing and product management of DCA's software product lines. Joan began her business career in customer support at IBM Corporation.
Joan is also active in the Georgia technology community. She was named the 2001 Woman of the Year in Technology by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). She serves on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia, and will serve as Chairman in 2008. She earned a B.A. in French from the University of Louisville and a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky.
Jim serves as Vice President of Finance for nuBridges overseeing all aspects of Finance and Administration. Prior to nuBridges, he was the Senior Director of Finance and Administration at CMI Marketing, a loyalty marketing company that develops and administers cross category loyalty programs, the first being ClubMom Rewards. At CMI, Jim helped develop the financial systems and infrastructure to track and process member transactions with partner companies. Before CMI, Jim worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Fixed Income Division. As a part of the corporate institutional sales group, his clients included several large mutual funds and insurance companies. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he worked for The Walt Disney Co. in the Corporate Operations Planning department. In that position, Jim worked with the company's various business units on financial matters including the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual operating plans, and capital spending proposals. Jim holds an MBA in Finance from The Anderson School at UCLA and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
Previously, McGonnigle was a co-founder and senior executive of Atlanta-based Internet Security Systems where, for 7 years, he led the business development team in developing sales channels and entering the managed security services market. Prior to ISS, he was President and co-founder of Data Integrity Services Corporation, an early-stage provider of WAN-based data management services. Throughout his 22 year career, McGonnigle has remained focused on emerging technologies and has held a variety of sales and marketing executive positions at EMC, Epoch Systems, Borland, and Wang Laboratories.
He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Security Industry Association (SIA), Business Executives for National Security (BENS), and a director of several privately held companies.
McGonnigle holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia and was Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgia's Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC).
Allen Graber, SVP, Business Development of SearchIgnite
SearchIgnite is a leading search bid management and portfolio optimization technology (software delivered as a service) that helps internet marketers optimize, manage and track search campaigns across all of the major search engines. In his capacity as SVP Business Development, Graber was responsible for prospecting and closing some of the initial sales of the company's software with large internet advertisers and agencies. In addition to this role, Graber managed an internal team at SearchIgnite under the brand name AdConsole Advisor (http://www.adconsole.com) that provided customers with full-service pay per click management. Graber is a certified Google Advertising Professional and has hands on experience managing multiple AdWords accounts. Graber brings a wealth of entrepreneurial and Internet business experience to bear. He self-funded and co-founded HyperMart and is a founding and active member of the Atlanta Technology Angels.
Michael Reene, Chief Strategy Officer, Choicepoint
With his dual training in business and technology, Michael began his career at Accenture where he rose to Managing Partner before joining IBM in 1995. At IBM, he helped start IBM Global Services and advanced to Vice President and General Manager of the $6B Global Telecommunications Vertical organization. In 1999, he applied both his time and capital to Third Millennium Communications (3MC), where he served as Chairman and CEO. 3MC (now known as consulting firm Enterpulse) profitably spun off successful ventures valued at over $100 Million. As an entrepreneur, Michael is active in early stage business communities with direct and indirect investments in a host of Atlanta-based companies. Collectively, he has started five businesses, been a founding investor in two more, and an early investor in over ten others.
Steve has thirty years experience in sales, marketing, operations, and corporate management in the technology industry with startup and fast growth technology products and service companies. Steve's experience includes a successful track record with self funded and venture capital funded businesses, with multiple successes in creating shareholder value through profitable company growth and sale of businesses to McAfee, Xcelerate, Renaissance, NetIQ, and Computer Associates.

Evaluation criteria will include:
10-20 CEO's will be selected to participate. One additional executive from each company may only participate in conjunction with the CEO (additional fee required).
Early applicants will be notified of their acceptance by August 15; and late applicants will be notified of their acceptance by August 31. Payment will be due in full within one week of notification.
