On behalf of TAG’s Breakfast Series program, I would like to invite you to join us for a presentation given by Bruce Davidson, Deputy Director of the Office of SAFETY Act Implementation, Science and Technology Directorate of the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Davidson will highlight the SAFETY Act, which ensures that the threat of liability does not deter potential manufacturers or sellers of anti-terrorism technologies from developing, deploying, and commercializing products and services that could save lives. Developers or producers of technologies or services intended to prevent, detect, identify, or deter acts of terrorism or limit the harm such acts might otherwise cause, may not know that their company may be eligible for critical risk management and legal liability protections authorized by this important Act of Congress. This presentation will provide information on the nature and scope of these benefits, and the criteria and process used to determine whether your products or services might qualify to receive them.
