Back to the Gold Dome!

It’s hard to believe that we are already beginning to prep for the 2009 Session of the Georgia General Assembly. Sine Die (the final day of adjournment) feels like just yesterday, yet here we are setting our 2009 State Legislative Agenda.

Earlier this week, TAG’s Government Relations Task Force held it’s second meeting for the year. We are very fortunate to have quite a remarkable group of individuals that have graciously agreed to serve TAG by providing us with their expertise as it pertains to science and technology policy here in the state. As TAG’s Director of Government Relations, I greatly value their input and look forward to working with them in the upcoming months ahead as we solidify TAG’s Legislative Agenda and proceed to the Gold Dome.

It should be an interesting Session, with an array of important issues to address (i.e. budget, trauma centers, etc) in the short window of 40 legislative days.
