12 More Companies will have the chance to present to Georgia CIOs!

Monday, September 29, 2008

TAG and GCLA will host a second Connecting Georgia’s Companies event in November and are now requesting information from companies interested in presenting to the audience of CIOs and other tech leaders. Georgia-based vendors who have innovative solutions to the “focus areas” selected by GCLA’s members are asked to complete the online request and submit it no later than October 13th. Web 2.0 and Mobility, Cloud/XaaS, and Security/Compliance were recently selected as some of the biggest challenges for Georgia’s CIOs. Those companies whose RFIs are selected will have the opportunity to present on November 11th and will have their company’s information displayed online.

TAG and GCLA will accept up to four TAG-member companies from each category to present their solutions to a prestigious group of Georgia CIOs, CTOs and other leaders. Prior to the program, the selected companies will be given support and counsel on their presentations by the staff of Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC). At the event, presentations will be limited to just five minutes and will be followed by five minutes of Q&A. The event will also include a panel discussion, networking reception, and sponsor exhibit booths. For additional information on the event and/or how to submit an RFI please visit http://www.tagonline.org/ConnectGA.php. The deadline for submitting an RFI is 5 p.m. October 13.

Connecting Georgia’s Companies is the result of a partnership between the Georgia CIO Leadership Association (GCLA) and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). For the participating CIOs it is a unique opportunity to hear from TAG-Member vendor companies based here in Georgia.

Program information can be found online at http://www.tagonline.org/connectga.php Questions should be directed to Amanda Shook at or 404-920-2023.
