Leigh Segall is Chief Marketing Officer of Smart Communications.  Prior to that she was Chief Marketing Officer of InnerWorkings Inc., a publicly traded company. As CMO, Leigh
was responsible for all aspects of the company’s global marketing strategy.
 
Prior to joining InnerWorkings, Leigh was the Vice President of Marketing for Leapfrog Online, one of the largest digital marketing companies in the U.S. In this role, Leigh oversaw the development and execution of the company’s full brand strategy.
 
Leigh also spent seven years with SAVO, the leading Sales Enablement technology company in the United States. During her tenure, Leigh served as Chief Marketing Officer and oversaw all aspects of SAVO’s marketing strategy to acquire new clients, develop customer loyalty, build market and brand awareness, and recruit the best and brightest new employees. Leigh also built SAVO’s first Sales Enablement consulting practice to help Fortune 500 CMOs, CSOs, and their teams drive better sales conversations in the field.
 
Prior to SAVO, Leigh served as Executive Director and chief spokesperson for Youth Venture, a national, not-for-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. She has also served as a marketing and communications strategist for firms including Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter & Associates, Dowling Langley & Associates, and Accelerated Market Strategies, helping organizations of all sizes to create and execute targeted marketing strategies that grow awareness, expand market share, and drive revenue.
 
Leigh has a degree in Political Science from Emory University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, with an emphasis on Marketing and Strategy. She serves on a number of boards, including Target Data and the Illinois Technology Association, and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. She is married with three children and lives in Chicago.
