Senior Director, Industry Insights & Digital Operations
Derek joined TAG in February 2011 as the Operations intern and was promoted to director the following July. In this role, Derek is responsible for TAG's email marketing platform and helping to develop and promote TAG's Where Georgia Leads program, including the online, interactive industry maps. He is also responsible for maintaining and growing the relationships with TAG's affiliate partners, as well as serving as the staff liaison for TAG CFO and TAG FinTech societies. Additionally, Derek assists in office operations, website content and design, and assisting with the production of TAG's annual State of the Industry; Technology in Georgia Report.
Prior to joining TAG, Derek worked as an intern for Integrated Learning Services writing the company's shared learning blog. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Communication.
