Brooks Tobey is senior vice president of platform strategy & architecture for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., (TBS, Inc.). As part of TBS, Inc.’s Media Software and Services organization, Tobey provides strategic technology leadership across audience data and analytics platforms; advertising systems and digital video delivery systems.trafficking, He is also responsible for TBS Inc.’s cloud strategy and the global Information Security Office. Tobey is based in Atlanta and reports to Jeremy Legg, head of technology strategy and product monetization for TBS, Inc.
During 15 years with TBS, Inc., Tobey has guided the development of ad sales systems and a linear advertising trafficking system digital ad systems, mobile operations and multi-platform distribution technology for the company. Previously, Tobey was product manager for McDonalds’ global store systems. He also worked with the Army National Guard in IT systems design and development.
Tobey earned a bachelor of science in computer science from Regents College in New York, and a master of business administration in technology management from the University of Phoenix. He serves as a board observer for iStreamPlanet and Invision and is a member of the Strategic Digital Video Advisory Committee for Adobe. Tobey has earned multiple distinctions as a member of the CableFAX Digital Hot List.
