TAG Savannah is targeting 12 Coastal Georgia companies to participate in Economic Gardening. In conjunction with the Edward Lowe Foundation and the National Strategic Research Team, TAG Savannah will provide 12 growing, entrepreneurial companies with access to information on markets, customers, and competitors. This corporate level information assists second stage growth companies with core strategy, competitor intelligence, market dynamics, and management assessment that will help take their companies to the next level.

Quarterly event in 2012
TAG Savannah will host quarterly roundtable meetings of Savannah's CIO's and Directors of Information Technology beginning March 2012. This will provide executives the opportunity to network, share experiences, and discuss the day's most relevant business issues. TAG Savannah's CIO Roundtable Series is an invitation only event.

The Technology Association of Georgia proudly presents the 1st Annual STEM Education Awards. TAG will honor teachers, schools, partnerships, and companies in Georgia for outstanding efforts in supporting and promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in Georgia schools.
The Awards will take place in Savannah, Georgia each September and will feature a variety of educational panels comprised of industry and education experts. Discussion will focus on best practices, ongoing STEM education needs and proposed solutions to challenges facing Georgia and the United States in regards to cultivating the talent Technology companies need to grow as global leaders. The program will conclude with an awards ceremony in the evening with a notable Keynote Speaker, during which we will recognize the efforts of a company in Georgia for their outstanding efforts in advancing STEM education. There will be an optional golf/site-seeing activities the following day in our beautiful host city, Savannah, Georgia.
Proceeds for the Annual STEM Education Awards will go to support the TAG Education Collaborative, a non-profit 501 c3 dedicated to advancing STEM education in Georgia, and TAG Savannah.

TAG Savannah hosted Stephen Fleming, Vice Pesident of Georgia Tech and Executive Director of Georgia Tech's Enterprise Innovation Institute. With several years experience in the venture capital and telecom industry, Stephen addressed the state of venture capitalism in Georgia and what it means to technology companies going forward.
