GOAL
The goal of the TAG Logistics Society is to bring together industry professionals from logistic functions to share insights and leading practices. Together we will be the catalyst for identifying current and future value driven practices and innovative technology solutions to support the global supply chain. As a result, we will deliver sustainable ideas, new ways of working together, information sharing, and professional growth that will help the community positively improve the flow of goods and services to meet customer's requirements in the 21st century.
VISION AND MISSION
The movement of material from origin to point of consumption requires the constant use of technologies that will create value. Cost containment that is measurable to the bottom line requires logistic professionals to continuously identify cost reduction opportunities. The Logistics Society will focus on process excellence practices leveraging technology in the key areas of planning, transportation, warehousing, customer service, and B2B collaboration to support the logistic professionals.
