Our society’s mission is to be the leading organization in Atlanta for technology-based companies and business services providers to find the right resources and connections to learn how to develop and implement best practices in corporate and business development strategies and initiatives.

 

Our goal is to highlight and connect Atlanta based companies and professionals with regional and international companies to enable established and start-up technology companies with their partnership, acquisition, growth and exit strategies while providing career development and networking opportunities.

Target Members

VP/GMs responsible for Corporate Development and Strategy, Strategic Planning, Business Development, Product Management, Strategic Partnerships and Channels, New Ventures, adn start-up to mid-size company CEO, CFO, General Counsel.

Target Companies
Large companies seeking complimentary acquisitions, technology licensing and business partnerships to expand their offerings and capabilities.  Start-up to mid-size companies seeking business services, financing and complimentary business partnerships around technologies, products and services to grow or successfully exit.  Providers of accounting, executive search, financial, legal, insurance, investment banking, valuation, research & development and management consulting services to technology-based companies.

Industry Focus
Alternative Energy, Biotech, Computer & Network Security, Computer Software, Computer Systems, Digital Entertainment, Healthcare IT, Payment Systems, Industrial Automation, Information Services, Semiconductors, Telecommunications, Wireless.

Events
The Society will host 4-6 meetings a year focused on current Corporate Development topics.  These include an annual year in review and outlook, M & A, joint business & development collaboration and partnerships, fund-raising and exits.  We will use a panel and case-study format to highlight the corporate development executive, companies and service providers involved in the case.  Our society will also collaborate with complimentary professional and industry groups to develop and deliver programs targeted to members.
