Dan Mondor

Dan Mondor 

Dan Mondor is Concurrent’s president and chief executive officer with responsibility for all aspects of company strategy and operations and is a member of Concurrent’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR) www.ccur.com  is a public company with operations in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America providing video, media-data and real time solutions to some of the world’s largest global corporations in the media, aerospace, defense and automotive sectors.

Dan has over 30 years of industry experience with global public and private corporations in general management, sales, marketing and strategic planning.  He previously held senior executive positions with Mitel Corporation, Nortel Networks (Nortel), and Siemens AG.  Prior to joining Concurrent, he was president of Mitel Networks Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Mitel Corporation.  Previously Dan was with Nortel, where he held a number of senior executive positions in general management, marketing and sales.  Mr. Mondor joined Nortel as product line manager and served in positions of increasing responsibility including vice president of worldwide marketing for their optical networks division during a period of hyper-growth to a $10B global business. In this role he was their most senior marketing executive with responsibility for global marketing strategy, market development, product marketing, marketing communications, industry relations and events. Before joining Nortel, Dan was with Siemens where he served in positions of increasing responsibility including director of strategic planning. He began his career in Canada with Bell-Northern Research (BNR), one of the world's premier research and development organizations in telecommunications.

Dan is frequently quoted in the press and publications on industry and technology trends. He was an invited speaker to Capitol Hill to brief Congressional Staff on telecom technology and has received industry awards from Business Week for Innovation and from the National Engineering Consortium on Market Impact. He was a contributing author to the 2010 Edition of “Inside the Minds”, published by Aspatore Books www.Aspatore.com.

Dan serves on the boards and committees of several non-profit organizations:  Technology Association of Georgia (Board Member), TechAmerica Georgia (Advisory Board Chairman), Atlanta Telecom Professionals (Executive Advisory Board Member).

A native of Canada, Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and his Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.

True to his Canadian roots, Dan co-founded the Georgia Student Hockey League, which paved the way for the development of ice hockey athletic programs in high schools throughout the state of Georgia. He resides in Atlanta with his wife Kelly who owns and operates Mosaic Hair Studio in Alpharetta, Georgia.
